About us

Creafutur is a private foundation, promoted by the Government of Catalonia and ESADE with the aim of identifying future business opportunities by analysing the behaviour patterns present in consumers and forecasts of how they will evolve in future.

What do we do?

We go beyond capturing consumer trends: we translate them into business opportunities:
What are the unmet needs of my target public and which trends affect them?
What will my target public be like 5, 10 or 15 years from now?
What opportunities do I have for developing new products and services and anticipate changes?

How do we do it?

Creafutur has a select community of international collaborators - service providers, opinion leaders and experts collaborators – who supply their valuable knowledge and opinions in the field of innovation, trend analysis and anticipating changes in the environment available.

Who do we do it for?
Businesses operating in Catalonia:

Small and medium-sized businesses immersed in a demanding, competitive market where differentiation is vital for survival, which need exhaustive knowledge of consumers and how they are developing based on changes in the environment.
Big businesses which have to move forward and get ahead of the others, anticipating changes in their business environment.

What are our lines of action?
Creafutur develops 3 areas of services:

Annual study “Outlook” and “Escenarios de Futuro” (Future Scenarios) every year, Creafutur's committee of experts selects areas of innovation relevant to businesses and develops projects to identify the business opportunities for the different sectors of application.
Observatory: Bimonthly service exploring and summarising trends based on the main international sources, explaining relevant opportunities based on different fields: Entertainment, Communication, Food, Wellness and Health, Technology, Fashion and Sustainability.
Advice: Creafutur offers a service providing advice and carrying out customised projects using a select community of collaborators at international level.
